Porcelain Vase

Sweewawa & I have made several trips to Busch Gardens this spring, and as part of the trips have been making pottery at one of the shops. Below see the amazing flower vase Sweewawa painted, with a poem in calligraphy on reverse.

The Fan

Sweewawa's latest brush painting, beautiful!

Chrysanthemum

Another beautiful brush painting by Sweewawa:

Vice versa

Song of the Day: The Sinister Minister - Bela Fleck

Quote of the Day: "Sometimes virtue can be a vice, and vice versa." --Dr. Kowawa

Thought of the Day: Had a great workout today, again following Mr. Jefferson's two hour suggestion. Did a total of 10 miles at Echo Lake, the majority of which was jogging. Now I feel pretty good. The pic above is Sweewawa's latest brush painting, which I think is really beautiful. I really like the sense of space and distance.

More Brush Painting

Here are some more beautiful brush painting examples painted by Sweewawa:

Brush painting cards

Wanted to highlight a particularly nice example of Sweewawa's brush painting card project:

Calligraphy placemats

Song of the Day: The Lighthouse's Tale - Nickel Creek

Quote of the Day: "One of the first duties of the physician is to educate the masses not to take medicine" --William Osler

Thought of the Day: The song above is a beautiful tune Sweewawa and I have been learning the last few days. How much more fun it is to do music and art than to waste time watching TV!! Below also see Sweewawa's latest art project -- the calligraphy / brush painting placemat!
